Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)

MPI detects surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials (iron, nickel, cobalt and some alloys). A-CINOS Services supports on-site magnetic particle inspection using yoke/coil magnetising equipment with dry powder, wet particles and wet fluorescent techniques where applicable. MPI is widely used in aerospace, locomotive, automotive, power generation, nuclear and petrochemical industries.
