Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)

LPT/LPI locates surface-breaking defects in non-ferrous and ferrous materials (for ferrous parts MPI is often preferred). It detects casting, forging and welding surface defects such as hairline cracks, surface porosity, leaks in new products and fatigue cracks on in-service components. A-CINOS Services supports on-site penetrant testing using contrast or fluorescent penetrant for sensitive inspection.
